This is a very nicly made item that has a good leather grip that is very well stiched and comfortable to grip.
The scabbard fitting can be unscrewed and locked into the frog on a belt so it stays in place when drawing the sword.
The blade is as strong if not stronger than some of the £150+ swords I have seen.
The scabbard metal could do with being very slightly thicker as it can be bent if handled roughly, but does allow you to bend it back and the sword does give a satisfactory "clunk" when driving the sword smartly into the scabbard. Some of the more expensive scabbards will not slide as easy as this one does.
No-one who has seen this sword believes that I paid the price on this page.
Would also reccomend the Masonic Dagger for sword drill as apart from the length as the grip and top of the scabbard is exactly the same size so makes drill practice at home easier as you wont hit the roof.
